The students of Divine Mercy Catholic Academy hosted its Third Annual Family Fashion Show on April 22, 2010. The fashion show was held at Roma View Catering, Howard Beach, New York. The school is doing an excellent job in educating the students in the basic curriculum but we want to be able to offer something more. It is important to offer students up-to-date technology such as SmartBoards which will not only open their minds to new material, but give them an avenue to express themselves and foster creativity. Funds are needed to procure the necessary hardware, and software and to conduct staff development for our faculty to better integrate technology into all curriculum areas. The fashion show was run to raise funds for this. |
